How do I make a return and get a refund from BED REPUBLIC?
At BED REPUBLIC, we make every effort to offer you quality products, designed to last.
But if, for whatever reason, your purchase isn't right for you, don't panic! We've put together a simple and efficient returns process to make things easier for you.
Here's everything you need to know to make a return and get a refund with complete peace of mind.
Before making a return
- Do not unpack your package if you are unsure about the size, color or model.
- Take the time to get used to your product (especially mattresses, which require up to 60 days to adapt).
- Check the return conditions according to the type of product (some items cannot be returned if they are opened, such as bed linen).

- You have 14 days after receipt to return a product, without justification.
- Return costs are your responsibility.
- The product must be unused and unopened (unless otherwise stated).

- Valid only in mainland France for certain products (mattresses, box springs, bed frames, etc.).
- BED REPUBLIC will cover the return costs.
- The product must be in good condition, clean and undamaged.
Return procedure
1. Contact customer service via the online form with:
- Order number, name, email, telephone number, product concerned, reason for return, with photos and/or videos
2. Wait for your request to be accepted and receive a return number.
3. Carefully pack the product in its original packaging with a legible label.
4. Ship the package (or wait for collection for the 60-night trial offer).
5. After verification of the product, the refund is made within 30 days.
Remember to check which products can be returned and which cannot:
Refund after return
- Reimbursement is made within 30 days after validation of the return by our team.
- The amount is credited back to the same payment method used for the purchase (bank card, transfer, voucher).
- For payments in installments , only the amount corresponding to the returned items is refunded, and the remaining installments are adjusted.
- In case of damaged or incomplete product , a partial refund may be applied.
📌 Good to know : you will receive a confirmation email as soon as your refund is processed.
Special conditions
- Products not eligible for return: pillows, duvets, open bed linen, personalized products.
- BED REPUBLIC error (wrong size, color, etc.): return handled by us.
- Order cancelled before shipment : immediate refund.

I would like to purchase a product with a 60-night trial guarantee, but I do not live in France.
We cannot therefore guarantee logistical support for the product: our support logistics are only provided on French soil. However, we guarantee our foreign customers a refund of the product even after 60 nights of use, in the event that the customer is able to return the product at their own expense.
I'm not sure! I have a doubt... (Example: I made a mistake in the size, the color or the information on the packaging does not state the correct information.)...
First and foremost, and when in doubt, DO NOT OPEN your package!
Don't touch anything, especially if it's a MATTRESS or a mattress topper!

- The size
- The color
- The passage in your accommodation
- The weight (borne by your bed)
- Your willingness to change….
- Or if, for example, the package indicates a different size than the one ordered: this can happen (very rare)...

I just opened my mattress/mattress topper, and I don't like it.
When returning a mattress or mattress topper (or any type of product that uses compressed rolled technology, which compresses the air and makes it easier to transport), it is important to take into account the change in size of the product when opening it.
Example: A mattress, once opened and uncompressed, does not have the same logistical cost.
It goes from being in a compact cardboard box, in the form of an easy-to-transport vacuum tube... to a product in all its dimensions which requires the presence of 2 people, and a completely different logistical organization (2 people, passage between doors, special truck, packaging...).
Before you want to return a mattress yourself (if, for example, the product is not eligible for the 60-night trial benefit), you should know that the logistics cost of returning it can be multiplied by 5!
It will be easier and less expensive to return a compressed mattress.
So when in doubt, DO NOT open your product!

We sell exclusively online.
And if you can try it in a store, it might not have that price either… it’s the fact of not having stores that allows us to display competitive prices. Look carefully at the information provided on the product sheet before making your choice and as soon as you are sure, no worries about trying it: you have the “60-night trial” advantage.

But in the majority of cases, no.
In fact, the terms that apply are those of the reseller (and not those of BED REPUBLIC). You and your reseller are setting up a sales contract together, where BED REPUBLIC is not present…
